The cumulative number of insured women who have benefited from the maternity leave allowance to date has reached about (60) thousand insured women with a number of births amounting to (82,569) cases, meaning that some of the insured women have benefited from more than one birth.
The amount of amounts disbursed cumulatively as maternity leave allowances amounted to about (89) million dinars, with an average of (1077) dinars for one birth (one maternity leave allowance).
It is worth noting that maternity insurance came into effect on September 1, 2011.
